The BX series inks have a non-toxic classification. In addition, the BX series inks contain heavy metal-free pigments and exhibit fade resistance. These features make this ink perfect for printing on food containers, toys, gift materials, industrial products, and industrial power tools. This is an excellent ink for pad printing on pens, injection-molded parts, containers, medical devices, wood, and electrical housings. Lastly, check the safety data sheets and the product label for warnings.
This ink has medical Class VI certification and meets the requirements of the GLP Class VI Test (USP). It also meets the current FDA 21 CFR, Part 58 GLP technical requirements. This enables you to easily mark silicone components that operate under demanding conditions
The nontoxic, triple-milled, fade-resistant pigmentation delivers stunning HD prints.
This is a General purpose pad print hardener for screen and pad printing inks. Use 10 – 20% of the inks weight.

Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc.’s Natron series screen and pad printing inks pair well with TMF Ink Thinner. Adding thinner affects not only ink viscosity, flow properties, and how the ink releases from the pad, but also drying speed, packaging, and adhesion capabilities.
Type TMF solvent keeps the ink wet for a longer period of time and still allows for optimal ink adhesion.
To regulate ink viscosity, add 10–25% of TMF Thinner to the ink and stir until homogeneous.
TMG is a fast-evaporating solvent that enables this ink series to bond to hard-to-print plastic materials, such as TPE.
The TS3 Ink Retarder modifies the solvent evaporation rate in Marabu screen and pad print inks. TS3 has a good solubility and evaporation rate.
Use the polypropylene adhesive primer on difficult-to-bond low-surface-energy plastics, such as polypropylene and polyethylene. This adhesion promoter increases the plastic’s surface energy, which reduces surface tension and promotes a better bond.
From our award-winning cylindrical inkjet printer and flatbeds to our pad printing equipment and lasers, Boston Industrial Solutions is the top choice for printing experts in all industries. See how some of our customers utilize our equipment!
Natron® BX Series is a universal printing ink designed for printing on a wide range of substrates including plastics, glass, metals, rubber, TPE, and many other materials.
Natron® BX Series can be used as either a 1-component or 2-component printing ink depending on the application and performance requirements.
For 2-component applications, mix the ink with I-300x Hardener at 10–20% of the ink’s weight. Add TMF Solvent at 10–25% of the ink’s weight to adjust viscosity, improve flow properties, and support optimal ink transfer and adhesion.
For printing on TPE (thermoplastic elastomers), use TMG Solvent for improved performance on this difficult-to-print substrate.
Yes. When used as a 2-component ink with hardener, Natron® BX Series delivers excellent abrasion and chemical resistance, making it suitable for automotive parts and other high-wear applications.
Yes. TMF Solvent can be added to change viscosity, improve flow characteristics, and extend open time while maintaining strong adhesion performance. Note: use TMG Solvent instead for TPE printing.
The Natron® BX Series is available in 31 standard colors, including 12 mixing colors, 16 standard shades, and 2 metallic shades.
Yes. All BX Series shades are intermixable and can be combined to create more than 1,600 PMS color shades.
